These guys are outstanding. I've now been using their services for a couple years, since shortly after they opened, and they have done nothing but superior service with a trustworthy touch that is not common to auto maintenance. On many occasions now I have taken my car in and they have completed the work well under what the dealership quoted, and the nice thing is they will take you to your car and show you what's wrong with an explanation if you ask.

Tarn is a true Volvo geek and that is what you want when you turn your baby over to someone for maintenance and repair. We worked with the dealership for years and that's fine, but Independent Auto is fabulous. Flexible, knowledgeable, kind and thoughtful. If they have a used serviceable part on hand, they will offer it (if you want to save some $ and time vs. new parts). They know the quirks of all the makes and models. We are really happy to have found them.

I have been bringing all my vehicles here since the day they opened their doors. They are fast, friendly, and efficient. Most importantly, they have always been honest with me regarding my cars. Several times I have brought vehicles in for a concern and they checked it out and was advised that my car was ok and nothing was needed to be done. They only do work if it is needed. Their business philosophy is to take care the customer. They truly want every person that brings their car to them to leave happy. The word is out about Independent Auto, and now more and more people are bringing their cars there.

My wife Kristina and I bought a used Volvo from a friend and we were not sure where to take in for servicing. Another friend of ours suggested Tarn and Independent Auto we couldn't be happier. I now take all our vehicles to Tarn he is respectful, knowledgeable and he truly understands customer service. I would recommend Tarn to anyone, great job and keep up the excellent work.

Awesome experience, very well run shop, very personable and VERY honest. I feel confident taking any vehicle here and confident in knowing that the repairs that are done are going to be done right and is what is needed for the vehicle. I was given a list of what still needed to be done but was not priority for the vehicle, yet... that really helped us work the repairs easily into our limited non-profit budget. We will DEFINITELY be back to complete the rest of the repairs at a later date and wont consider going to any other shop. Top notch service!!

Tarn is awesome and won't oversell anything. Highly recommend this auto shop if you want an excellent mechanic that knows what he is doing, this is the spot. They explained everything very well, in layman's terms since I don't know too much about how engines operate.

Took my Car to Independent Auto because the car was very loud while driving. Another mechanic suggested I get a realignment and check the tires. Tarn got me right in. He stayed in communication so I knew what was going on. They started with the tires and it solved the noise problem! Super grateful they were looking for the problem not looking to make more money.

They’ve been great.. knowledgeable, thorough and very helpful. They don’t oversell products or services and will let you know what to watch, which is wonderful. They also have loaner cars, which is great.

Good honorable company. Tarn and his company are honest. We live in the valley and have our vehicles worked on by him.
